Chelsea look to compound Manchester United’s recent woes by winning for the second time in four days when they visit Old Trafford in the Premier League on Wednesday.
United’s performance in Saturday’s tame 1-0 defeat at Newcastle increased the pressure on Erik ten Hag and his players and led to further speculation of unrest behind the scenes involving the manager.
Chelsea had to play the second half of their 3-2 win at home to Brighton & Hove Albion with 10 men on Sunday and midfielder Conor Gallagher will be suspended for the game following his red card at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Like Chelsea, United have a long injury list, with influential midfielders Casemiro and Christian Eriksen set to miss out again.

There is a chance that defender Malo Gusto and midfielder Romeo Lavia could return as they both trained before missing the game against Brighton.
