Porto vs Arsenal Possible lineups & TV Channel for UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg 2023/24

Arsenal restarted their UEFA Champions League campaign with a round of 16 first leg away to Porto on 21 February.

Mikel Arteta’s side find themselves in the middle of the Premier League title race two points behind leaders Liverpool after a 5-0 win at Burnley at the weekend.

The Gunners are aiming to reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2010.

Team news

Arteta’s injury list is unchanged ahead of the trip to Portugal, with Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Jesus not quite ready to return for the visitors.

However, Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira returned to team training this week and could be in line to feature in the squad, although it seems unlikely they will be rushed back.

Porto coach Sergio Conceicao was dealt a blow when striker Mehdi Taremi picked up a thigh problem at the weekend, meaning he is a doubt. Zaidu Sanusi is out for the season, while Ivan Marcano will also miss out with a long-term ACL injury.

Arsenal (4-3-3): Raya (GK) — White, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior — Odegaard, Rice, Jorginho — Saka, Havertz, Martinelli.

Porto (4-3-3): Costa (GK) — Mario, Pepe, Otavio, Wendell — Valera, Gonzalez, Sanchez — Conceicao, Evanilson, Taremi.

Arsenal vs Porto kick off time

This Champions League clash takes place at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto, Portugal and kicks off on Wednesday, February 21 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
