Pep Guardiola’s side are back in European action as part of a potential wider treble hold as they remain in contention for the Premier League title and FA Cup this season.
Man City cruised through the group stage with six wins from six matches in Group G as FC Copenhagen beat Manchester United into second place in Group A.
Guardiola has a fully fit squad to choose from in Denmark, with Erling Haaland back in full swing after scoring twice in a 2-0 Premier League win over Everton.
However, the Spanish coach is set to adjust his starting team, with experienced trio Kyle Walker, Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva returning to the starting eleven.
FC Copenhagen haven’t played a competitive game since December, the home season started this weekend. The home side will carry an attacking threat through Roony Bardghji and Diogo Goncalves with Rasmus Højlund’s younger brother Oscar starting in midfield.
Lukas Lerager ruled out a dismissal for the home side.
