Real Madrid vs Mallorca possible lineups, team news and TV Channel for La Liga 2023/24

real-madrid-laliga

Real Madrid continue their La Liga title challenge and kick off 2024 when Los Blancos host 14th-placed Mallorca at the Bernabeu in midweek.

Real Madrid sit at the top of the Spanish top-flight table above Girona after a two-week winter break, with manager Carlo Ancelotti playing for the foreseeable future. Ancelotti signed a contract extension last week, fending off strong reported interest from Brazil.

With Ancelotti in the long-term and Jude Bellingham continuing to score goals at will, Madrid are in a good place as other top Spanish clubs like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid falter.

Team news

Real Madrid are definitely healthier as Eduardo Camavinga, Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior are nearing their returns. The trio could be retained for the upcoming Spanish Super Cup.

The visitors will be without the suspended Nacho Fernandez, meaning Ancelotti must decide on a centre-back position with Eder Militao and David Alaba both long-term absentees.

Ferland Mendy is also set to miss out, but La Liga minutes could finally come for Arda Guler.

Real Madrid predicted lineup:

Lunin; Carvajal, Rudiger, Tchouameni, Garcia; Kroos, Modric, Valverde; Bellingham; Rodrygo, Joselu.

Mallorca predicted lineup:

Rajkovic; Gonzalez, Raillo, Nastasic; Maffeo, Costa, Morlanes, Copete; Sanchez, Dominguez; Larin.
