Real Madrid vs Barcelona possible lineups, team news and TV Channel for Spanish Super Cup final 2024

Real Madrid and Barcelona meet in the second El Clasico of the season when they meet in the Supercopa de Espana final in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Both clubs progressed past their semi-final opponents in the expanded four-team competition abroad, with Real Madrid needing extra time at arch-rivals Atletico Madrid, while Barcelona used two second-half goals to see off Osasuna.

Real Madrid are leading the La Liga table and have generally had the better season, but Barcelona have been hanging around in a less entertaining way and need to polish up their games as their injury list grows seemingly every week. The latest to suffer health problems is winger Raphinha, who left in the first half against Osasuna with a hamstring problem.

Madrid are seen as favorites to win, as they were just back in October in their first La Liga meeting of the year, but this match presents a clash of styles that could upset expectations and result in an entertaining and unpredictable final product.

Team news

Ancelotti is still without defensive duo David Alaba and Eder Militao, with the latter battling to return before the end of the season and Lucas Vazquez remaining in Spain to continue his recovery.

Real Madrid (4-3-3, right to left): Kepa (GK) — Carvajal, Nacho, Rudiger, Mendy — Modric, Belingham, Tchouameni — Valverde, Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior.

Xavi will assess his options ahead of this game with Joao Cancelo and Pedro having just returned from injury, but Ilkay Gundogan and Robert Lewandowski set to start.
