Kyrgyzstan vs Saudi Arabia Possible Starting lineups for AFC Asian Cup 2024


Kyrgyzstan will face Saudi Arabia in their second group stage match of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup on Sunday at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium (Al-Rayyan Stadium).

Kyrgyzstan are playing in the group stage of the competition for only the second time, losing 2-0 to Thailand in their campaign opener. It was their fourth defeat in five appearances at the Asian Cup and only the second time they failed to find the back of the net.

Three-time champions Saudi Arabia opened their campaign with a 2-1 comeback win over Oman. Salaah Al-Yahyaei broke the deadlock in the 14th minute to give Oman an early lead. Saudi Arabia dominated possession but struggled to break down Oman’s resilient defence.

Abdulrahman Ghareeb was interrupted in the 75th minute and immediately struck, scoring the equalizer three minutes later. Late drama followed when Ali Albulayhi scored the game-winner in injury time from a corner kick.
