Everton vs Crystal Palace Possible Lineups, Team News and TV Channel for FA Cup 2023/24

Everton face an FA Cup third-round replay with Crystal Palace on January 17 after the two sides played out a 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park earlier in 2024.

Neither side will be happy with the extra fixture added to their schedules, but the prospect of a fourth-round tie against Luton Town or Bolton Wanderers is on the horizon for the winners at Goodison Park.

Sean Dyche’s side warmed up to this tie with a 0-0 Premier League draw against Aston Villa, with the clash bringing an early end to Crystal Palace’s mid-season break.

Team news

Everton’s injury list is unchanged from the draw with Aston Villa as defender Ashley Young remains sidelined and Idrissa Gana Gueye is on Africa Cup of Nations duty with Senegal.

With the Toffees entering the break after this game, Dyche is set to name a strong squad, with Dwight McNeil set to return in the front. England star Jordan Pickford will be rested and Joao Virginia will start in goal.

Roy Hodgson is likely to be without key winger Michael Olis for some time due to a thigh injury, with Jordan Ayew on AFCON duty in Ghana.

Ahead of the crunch Premier League trip to Arsenal after this game, Hodgson could name a rotated squad, with Will Hughes and David Ozoh possible starters.

Everton (4-5-1): Virginia (GK) — Patterson, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko — Harrison, Doucoure, Garner, Onana, McNeil — Calvert-Lewin.

Crystal Palace (4-3-3): Henderson (GK) — Clyne, Anderson, Guehi, Mitchell — Hughes, Richards, Ozoh — Franca, Edouard, Eze.
