Argentina U23 vs Peru U23 Possible Lineups & TV Channel for CONMEBOL pre-Olympic tournament 2024


Argentina’s under-23 team faces a battle for a place at the 2024 Summer Olympics in a mini-tournament organized by CONMEBOL in Venezuela.

All 10 CONMEBOL teams were divided into two groups, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the next stage, where the top two teams from the second mini-league would qualify for the Olympics.

In the first round of matches, Argentina drew 1–1 with Paraguay and faced Group B leaders Peru on 24 January.

Argentina’s squad features a majority of homegrown players, but MLS fans will recognize captain Thiago Almada. The Atlanta United star is a key figure for his national team and will lead Javier Mascherano’s side in this match.

Peru is looking to reach its first Olympic Games since 1960, securing a narrow 1-0 win over Chile in its opening match.
