Argentina U23 5 – 0 Chile U23: Almada scored Twice to help Argentina qualify for final round of pre-Olympics


Argentina scored five goals in a 5-0 win against Chile in the pre-Olympic Games.

Javier Mascherano’s Argentina pre-Olympic team qualified for the second round by winning the match 5-0. A strong 5-0 performance and Argentina are now in the bottom four.

Two goals were scored by Thiago Almada, one by Santiago Castro, one by Aarón Quirós and one by Luciano Gondou. Almada and Gondou are now on three goals.

The team is in the final four with Brazil, Paraguay and the runner-up in Group A. They will play each other and the top two teams will qualify for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
