Shanghai Shenhua will be at the Shenzhen City Stadium in a friendly against Al Nassr on Wednesday.

The visitors will play their first game of the year on Wednesday and will also play the mid-season break with this encounter. After that match, they will start against Zhejiang at the same venue on Sunday.

They were last in action in the Saudi Pro League in December, recording a 4-1 win over Al Taawoun. They traveled to the friendly match with a complete team, whose lineup is led by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Interestingly, tickets for their China Tour sold out within hours of going online, so we can expect quite a crowd in the stands for this match.

Shanghai Shenhua will take to the pitch for the first time since November when they beat Shandong Taishan 1-0 in the Chinese FA Cup final. It was their first major title since 2019. João Carlos Teixeira is the most famous player in their ranks, while Cephas Malele and Ibrahim Amadou are the other two overseas players.
