Argentina vs Paraguay XI: Possible Lineups and Team News for World Cup 2026 qualifier

Reigning world champions Argentina take on Paraguay in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Argentina national football team goes into the match after a 3-0 victory over the Bolivia national football team in their second World Cup qualifier, having previously won 1-0 over Ecuador in September.

The current world champions are enjoying themselves as they are second in the table just behind Brazil. Since their victory over France to claim the 2022 FIFA World Cup crown in Qatar, Argentina have won six matches in all competitions. Paraguay, on the other hand, have new head coach Daniel Garner and will be looking to get something out of this match as they struggle with their recent form and would like to give the home team a tough challenge.
