Egypt will welcome Ethiopia to the stadium on June 30 for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Friday.
The visitors have not been in action since they claimed a routine 3-0 win over South Sudan in a friendly in June. Mostafa Fathi, Kahraba and Trezeguet found the back of the net and inspired victory.
Meanwhile, Ethiopia cruised to a 2-0 win over Guyana in a friendly in August. Shimelis Bekele scored the win.
Both nations will turn their attention back to the AFCON qualifiers. Egypt recorded a 2-1 away win over Guinea in their final qualifier, while Ethiopia were held to a goalless draw by Malawi at home.
The draw left the Walia Ibex rooted to the bottom of Group D with four points and they were eliminated from the qualifiers. Egypt lead at the top with 12 points and have booked their place at AFCON 2023 as group winners.
