Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni commented on the current team, the World Cup finals and MLS.

Mundo Albiceleste were in attendance, as was Lionel Scaloni with AFA President Claudio Tapia as they unveiled Argentina’s new training complex in Florida. The training complex will be used for the 2024 Copa America and, if they qualify, the 2026 World Cup.

Scaloni spoke about the current team at the press conference. Here is what he had to say: “We have to continue in the same way that got us here. No player is guaranteed a place.”

The best coach in the world also commented on the starting eleven of the World Cup final: “I gave the line-up to my players an hour and a half before the game, but I knew it before.

Regarding MLS and Inter Miami: “I don’t think the level of MLS is bad. On the contrary, I think it is good and it is rising.

I loved the atmosphere of the stadium last Friday during the Inter Miami game. A lot of Latino people go to the games. It was great.”
