The home side recorded their first win of the league campaign on Friday as a Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick and a brace from Sadio Mane helped them to a 5-0 aggregate away victory at Al Fateh. After the victory, they climbed to 10th place in the league table.
The visitors’ run of league wins continued last week as they held Damac to a 1-1 draw at home. Damac Georges-Kévin N’Koudou opened the score of the match in the 71st minute. Fahad Al-Muwallad equalized in the 89th minute as they earned their second draw in three games.
