Al-Nassr have reportedly agreed a fee with Bayern Munich for the former Liverpool forward.
Bayern Munich’s Sadio Mane is set to undergo a medical at Al-Nassr on Monday, according to reports.
The 31-year-old striker looks set to become the next big-name star heading to the Saudi Pro League with the Bundesliga champions confirming on Saturday that talks are underway and now said to have agreed a fee with Al-Nassr.
After announcing his squad for the pre-season friendly against Japan’s Kawasaki Frontale, Bayern tweeted: “Sadio Mane is in contract talks ahead of a possible transfer and so not in today’s squad.”
The 31-year-old Senegalese forward has struggled for form in Germany since his £35m move from Liverpool last summer.
He missed the 2022 World Cup during a difficult season through injury and we were fined and suspended by Bayern after a training pitch spat with teammate Leroy Sane.
He now appears set to move to Saudi Arabia and link up with Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcelo Brozovic at Al-Nassr, having also been linked with Al-Ahli and reuniting with former Liverpool team-mate Roberto Firmino.
After first moving to England with Southampton, Mane moved to Anfield in 2016 and scored 120 goals in 269 games, winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup and Club World Cup on Merseyside.
