Liverpool have reportedly made an offer for the potential transfer of Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie as they look to continue strengthening their midfield.
The Ivory Coast international looks like he could be a good fit for Liverpool in this problematic position, although he has yet to show his best form for Barca since joining from AC Milan last summer.
According to Inter Live , as quoted by Sport , Liverpool appear to be serious about rivaling Inter Milan for Kessie this summer and have even made a €35m bid for the 26-year-old.
Kessie is certainly capable of being one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe in his day and could be an ideal upgrade to Fabinho in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
It remains to be seen whether LFC will finalize this deal, but it is conceivable that there could be a few signings from the Merseyside giants this transfer window.
As Fabrizio Romano reports in the tweet below, it appears the deal for Alexis Mac Allister is now almost done…
Still, there would certainly be room for more signings in the middle of the park as Jordan Henderson isn’t getting any younger, while Naby Keita just left on free transfers and needs a replacement.
