Brazil face their final summer friendly on June 20 as Ramon Menezes’ side take on Senegal in Lisbon.

After a quarter-final exit at the 2022 World Cup, Menezes stepped in as Tite’s temporary replacement and the midweek friendly win over Guinea was the first victory of his tenure.

The clash against Senegal is likely to present a tougher test for Menezes and the Samba Boys with Alia Cisse’s side in contention for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations title.

The Lions of Teranga have already secured a place in the tournament with Cisse’s side boasting several big name stars including Kalidou Koulibaly and Sadio Mane.

Brazil vs Senegal lineups

Menezes is expected to reshuffle his team for this game with Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes tipped to start as part of a changed midfield unit.

Cisse has confirmed Koulibaly is fit to return and the Chelsea defender is expected to captain Senegal in the Portuguese capital.

Below are the projected starting lineups for both teams ahead of their match on Tuesday, June 20 at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon, Portugal.

Brazil (4-3-3, right to left): Alisson (GK) — Danilo, Marquinhos, Militao, Telles — Guimaraes, Casemiro, Paqueta — Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Rony

Senegal starting 11

Senegal (4-3-3, right to left): Dieng (GK) — Mendy, Seck, Koulibaly, Jakobs — Kouyaté, Gueye, Ciss — Sarr, Jackson, Mane

With Senegal already securing qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations, Cisse rested certain players for their midweek 1-1 draw with Benin, and he will name a strong team against Brazil.

Koulibaly’s return to the defence is a key change with Premier League pair Idrissa Gana Gueye and Cheikhou Kouyaté also pushing to start, and Mane is paired in attack with Chelsea transfer Nicolas Jackson of Villarreal.
