FC Barcelona coach Xavi reportedly admires Gio Lo Celso of Villarreal.
The club was linked with İlkay Gündoğan, but now another name is being mentioned. According to Ferran Martínez of Mundo Deportivbo, Lo Celso fits Xavi’s profile as the playmaker needed to get Roberto Lewandowski goals.
Gio Lo Celso is currently signed to Tottenham Hotspur and spent last season on loan at Villarreal. Alex Baena of Villarreal is also another name mentioned.
Lo Celso is currently with the Argentina national team on a tour of Asia. He was involved in Argentina’s 2-0 win against Australia on Thursday in Beijing.
