Al Ahli in talks with Brazlian forward Firmino over Saudi move

Al Ahli are reportedly in talks with Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino over a move to Saudi Pro League.

The 31-year-old can be signed as a free agent after leaving the Premier League at the end of this season.

He has been linked with a return to his native Brazil, while a number of other European clubs have also claimed interest.

But it looks like the experienced forward could be heading to Saudi Arabia.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Al Ahli are in talks with Firmino to sign him as a free agent.

The player is yet to decide on his future, but the Saudi Arabian outfit look confident about the move.

They are said to be preparing his medical tests in case they get the green light to sign him.

Firmino started his career at Figueirense before moving to German side Hoffenheim in 2011.

He joined Liverpool in 2015 and was a huge success at Anfield.

The 31-year-old lifted the Premier League and Champions League trophies during his time on Merseyside.

During his eight-year spell with the Reds, he played over 350 senior games scoring 111 goals.

He could now move to Saudi Arabia, who have already signed some big names this summer.

Former Real Madrid great Karim Benzema and Chelsea star N’Golo Kante have signed with Al-Ittihad.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilal have secured the signatures of Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly.
