Why is Facundo Buonanotte not playing for Argentina 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup?
Argentina have NOT included Facundo Buonanotte in their squad for the Under-20s World Cup.
Head coach Javier Mascherano had hoped to name the Albion player in his group for the competition his nation are hosting and which gets underway on May 20 – a week before the end of the Premier League season.
Seagulls boss Roberto De Zerbi was non-committal when asked recently whether Buonanotte would be released.
Argentina have also been unable to call up Manchester United prospect Alejandro Garnacho and Real Madrid’s Nico Paz.
