Israel U20 and Colombia U20 will battle for three points in a 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup Group C fixture on Sunday.
Israel is making its debut at the FIFA U-20 World Cup. They booked their place in the tournament by finishing second at the 2022 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
Colombia is starting at the tournament for the eleventh time. Third place at the 2023 South American U20 Championship secured them a place on the short trip to Argentina.
The South Americans enter the tournament after a 3-3 draw in a friendly with Nigeria. They took a two-goal lead through an Abel Ogwuch own goal and an Oscar Cortes penalty, while Yaser Asprilla made it 3-1 in the 50th minute.
Nigeria scored two more goals to secure a share of the spoils. Japan and Senegal complete the quartet of teams in Group C.
