England U20 and Tunisia U20 will battle for three points in a 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup Group E fixture on Monday.

The Three Lions are making their 12th appearance at the Under-20 World Cup and their first since winning the tournament in 2017. They secured their place in the competition by winning the 2022 European Under-19 Championship.

England have not been in action since they were held to a 1-1 draw by France in a friendly in March. Bashir Humphreys put them ahead in the 10th minute but his goal was canceled out by Alan Virginius’ strike in the 43rd minute.

Tunisia will be making their third appearance at the Junior World Cup and first since 1985. The Carthage Eagles finished fourth at the 2023 African Under-20 Cup of Nations to secure a place in Argentina.
