According to Romeo Agresti, Juventus has decided not to extend Angelo Di Maria’s contract, so the Argentinian’s entourage is already evaluating other possible destinations.

El Fideo signed a one-year deal last summer and moved to Turin on a free transfer from PSG.

The 35-year-old has had ups and downs during his time at the Allianz Stadium, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in 38 appearances in all competitions.

According to Juventus insider Romeo Agresti, the Bianconeri will not extend the winger’s contract through the summer, meaning Di Maria will leave in June.

The club’s directors based their decision on Di Mario’s age and wages, around €7m per season, and his inconsistent performances this term.

Juventus will embark on a new course in 2023-24, chasing young players on lower wages given that they are not expected to play UEFA Champions League football following their recent 10-point deduction in Serie A and another ban that could hit them in June.

According to the report, Di Maria’s entourage are already assessing the Argentine’s options.

Juventus have two games left this season, against Milan at home and Udinese at the Dacia Arena. It will be Di Maria’s last matches in the Juventus shirt.
