Inter are in a strong position to reach their first UEFA Champions League final since 2010 ahead of a crunch semifinal second leg against city rivals AC Milan.

Inter stormed to a magnificent 2-0 first-leg win in the first leg of this double at the San Siro thanks to strikes from veteran duo Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan that put them on the brink of the Istanbul final.

Although Milan head into the first leg as slight favourites, Stefano Pioli’s side will need to pull off an incredible turnaround to have any chance of reaching June’s final showdown.

Inter Team news

Inter’s main injury doubt comes via defender Milan Skriniar with the Slovakia international still struggling with a back injury. Simone Inzaghi rested the majority of his key names in the 4-2 weekend Serie A win over Sassuolo, and Roberto Gagliardini for Mkhitaryan could be the only change from the first leg.

Inter : 24-Andre Onana (GK) — 36-Matteo Darmian, 15-Francesco Acerbi, 95-Alessandro Bastoni — 2-Denzel Dumfries, 5-Roberto Gagliardini, 20-Hakan Calhanoglu, 23-Nicolo Barella, 32-Federico Dimarco — 10-Lautaro Martinez, 9-Edin Dzeko

Milan Team news

Star man Rafael Leao is back fit after missing the first meeting, and the Portugal international will join Rade Krunic, Olivier Giroud and Alexis Saelemaekers in attack.

Milan : 16-Mike Maignan (GK) — 2-Davide Calabria, 24-Simon Kjær, 23-Fikayo Tomori, 19-Theo Hernandez — 8-Sandro Tonali, 32-Tommaso Pobega — 56-Alexis Saelemaekers, 33-Rade Krunic, 17-Rafael Leão — 9-Olivier Giroud
