Inter vs Benfica XI: Possible lineups and team news for this 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League match

Inter host Benfica in the second leg of their UEFA  Champions League quarter final tie looking to preserve the 2-0 advantage they earned in the first leg.

Goals from Nicolo Barella and Romelu Lukaku gave the Nerazzurri their only win in their past eight games, losing 1-0 to Serie A minnows Monza this past weekend.

They face a Benfica side previously backed to progress before the first leg but who have lost three games on the bounce heading into Wednesday’s second leg.

Injuries to Inter centre backs Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij mean the back three defence of Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni should be deployed.

Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez may start up front for Simone Inzaghi’s side ahead of Lukaku, who scored in the first leg.

Inter predicted lineup (3-5-2):
