Al-Nassr have given manager Rudi Garcia one game to save his job, reports ESPN.

The Frenchman and Cristiano Ronaldo have an uneasy relationship, which has piled more pressure on him.

Al-Nassr have won seven of their last eight Saudi Pro League matches.

However, they are three points behind league leaders Al-Ittihad with seven games remaining.

Al-Nassr face Al-Hilal next Tuesday and the result against the reigning Asian champions could have a big say on Garcia’s future.

Victory over Al-Hilal could be the only thing that saves the former Roma and Lyon boss.

The 59-year-old player has been in charge of the Knights of Najd since June 2022, when he replaced Miguel Angel Russo.

The ten months Garcia spent with Al-Nassr exceeded expectations in terms of longevity.

Most coaches in the Saudi Pro League average just over four months in their positions.

Al-Ittihad eliminated Ronaldo and co. from the Arab Super Cup in the semi-finals in January.

Garcia has a poor relationship with the dressing room and has occasionally confronted his players.

Ronaldo’s arrival from Manchester United in December did not improve the club’s fortunes as many expected.

The Portuguese international scored 11 goals in 10 league games.

It’s a great return from the 38-year-old and Garcia needs him in top form against Al-Hilal.

Al-Nassr last won the title in 2019 and will be hoping to reach their 10th this term, with or without the French manager.
