The Luis de la Fuente era will kick off on Saturday when Spain host Norway in their first Euro 2024 qualifier.

With the World Cup heartbreak now in the rear-view mirror, Spain have made plenty of changes and La Roja are looking to quickly reestablish themselves as a genuine powerhouse of both European and world football.

Norway, on the other hand, are simply looking to get back to a major competition. They missed the World Cup for the sixth time in a row, while their appearance at Euro 2000 is the last time we saw Norway on the big stage.

Spain team news

Starting goalkeeper Unai Simon and star midfielder Pedri have both been forced to withdraw from the squad through injury. Bryan Gil also left the camp on Thursday, with no replacement named.

De la Fuente has called up no fewer than 15 new players following the World Cup, so expect a new-look side.
