League 1: Why is Kylian Mbappe not playing today for PSG against Monaco?

Kylian Mbappe will not feature when Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) travels to face AS Monaco in Ligue 1 on Saturday (11 February). The French International has picked up a biceps femoris strain injury that will keep him out of league action this weekend.

In the domestic league, they have a good advantage over their immediate rivals Olympique Marseille and Lens: the difference is not less than 8 points. Something that seems hard to ignore, but of course, PSG don’t want to give their pursuers any chance, especially since if Monaco win, they would also be close to the top.

Why Is Mbappe Not playing for PSG against Monaco?

Kylian Mbappe was recently injured in a Ligue 1 match against Montpellier, leaving the game late in the first half with a biceps femoris strain in his left leg.He also miss UEFA Champions League 1st leg vs Bayern Munich.

This is not the first time Kylian has suffered an injury in the 2022-2023 season, but this injury has kept him out of Ligue 1, UEFA Champions League, and league 1 matches.
