He is already a superstar of football, but Kylian Mbappe would need to bring modesty with him if he ever joins Real Madrid, says Guti.
If Kylian Mbappe joins Real Madrid, he must do so with his head down, according to former Los Blancos midfielder Guti.
The Paris Saint-Germain star has been constantly linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu but sensationally beat Madrid to the punch last year when he agreed a new deal in the French capital.
Reports continue to suggest that a move in the next few years is still a possibility, although Madrid were reportedly angered by Mbappe’s decision to prevent them from signing him on a free transfer at the end of last season.
Speaking on El Chiringuito, Guti said: “Mbappe has to come to Real Madrid with his head down and be like one of the others in the dressing room.
“If he is not, he is mistaken and does not know what club he represents.
“It’s a reality. [Luis] Figo came, Ronaldo came…
“I don’t know what his reality is in Paris and how things are going in the PSG dressing room.
“He could be the best player in the world to be signed, but Real Madrid is much more than that.”
The 24-year-old has scored 27 goals in 28 games for PSG this season and recently became the youngest player to score 150 goals in Ligue 1 by two years.
