Gerard Pique‘s final game as a Barcelona player sees the Catalans host Almeria at the Camp Nou on Saturday, all with the aim of staying within touching distance of Real Madrid at the top of the LaLiga Santander table.
Pique will hang up his boots as the fifth-most capped player for Barcelona and coach Xavi Hernandez is one of those with more caps to his name. The former midfielder is expected to play at centre-back.
With Real Madrid not playing away at Rayo Vallecano until Monday night, Barcelona can temporarily go top of the LaLiga Santander table.

Pique is expected to steart at centre-back for Barcelona for the final time, but Xavi does have injury concerns to worry about. Franck Kessie is the latest to suffer physical problems and was taken off in midweek, joining Sergi Roberto, Ronald Araujo and Eric Garcia on the sidelines.
Jules Kounde, Andreas Christensen and Memphis Depay may return to the squad.
Almeria are only likely to be without Juanjo Nieto and Ivan Martos.
