Paris Saint-Germain will return to UEFA Champions League action in their upcoming home game against Juventus. PSG enter the contest at the top of the Ligue 1 table with 16 points from six games played, while Juventus are seventh in the initial Serie A standings.
PSG do not come into this match with any serious injury concerns and as noted by UEFA.com, manager Christophe Galtier could field his best starting XI for the match.
Last season, Sergio Ramos did not start a single Champions League game due to a number of nagging injuries. He should finally make his long-awaited debut with PSG in this competition against Juventus.
Neymar didn’t have much to do with PSG in the Champions League last season, failing to score a single goal in his six such appearances. It would certainly be key for the Brazilian forward to get on the scoresheet against the Serie A side on match day.
PSG and Juventus will meet in the Champions League competition for the first time ever.
PSG Probable lineup
Galtier has almost his entire squad, except for the injured Julian Draxler and Timothee Pembele. Sergio Ramos, Neymar, Nuno Mendes and Renato Sanches all came off the bench during the weekend’s win at Nantes, and could be among the starters again.
