It is almost mandatory for all teams to have a new kit for this tournament. Brands are trying to sell more jerseys, and if the national team succeeds, it will obviously become a must-have piece in every football fan’s wardrobe.
For that reason, Nike has released kits for all the teams that the brand will represent in Qatar 2022. Portugal is one of them and of course they used Cristiano Ronaldo as the main character to promote the kits.
Portugal’s home jersey for Qatar 2022
Portugal’s home kit will be very different for the latest versions. Of course, it will feature the national colors (red and green), but this time with a big change in patterns.
Portugal usually used one of these two colors as the main and the other for details. Now, the diagonal stripe that divides the chest into two parts gives green at the bottom and red at the top. The shorts match the color of the bottom.
Portugal’s away jersey for Qatar 2022
For the away kit, Nike tried to be simple but elegant. Bone white is used as the primary color in this kit, which also complements the shorts and socks, but with some details in black.
On the chest, the Portuguese flag is also represented by a horizontal stripe that has both green and red colors. There are two black stripes on the lower part of the arms that contrast a bit with the bone white.
