Exequiel Palacios will travel with the Argentina national team for the September games in the United States despite being injury.
Palacios suffered a left thigh injury while playing against Bayer Leverkusen and was not part of the squad for their Champions League match on Tuesday. The club announced that he will miss several more matches.
The 23-year-old has been included in the provisional list for Argentina’s national team as they play Honduras and Jamaica in September. And according to TyC Sports, Palacios will be with the team.
Per the report, Palacios will travel with the Argentina national team despite being injured and he is not expected to play in any of the two games. Palacios is not secured of a place at the World Cup with Argentina. Here is the Argentina preliminary list:
