Real Madrid just lost Casemiro to Manchester United and is not willing to release another midfielder. After the Brazilian left, one club knocked on the Merengues door to see if one of their best players is available for €90 million.

Real Madrid is one of the best clubs in football today with great players that everyone would want in their teams. After Casemiro left for Manchester United this summer, the club were in the market for another Merengues midfielder, but the Spanish side rejected a €90 million bid for his services.

Champions League 2021-22 winners are always in the spotlight. Real Madrid have one of the best rosters in the world because every one of their players, even the substitutes, could be a starter anywhere else. This is why teams are always looking for a chance to sign one of them to their squads.

For the 2022-23 season, Real Madrid have moved some pieces, especially in midfield. Casemiro, one of the best midfielders to ever play for the Merengues, has left for a juicy offer from Manchester United. The Merengues have signed Aurelien Tchouameni as his replacement and it seems they are not considering losing another player in that zone this year.

Report: Real Madrid rejected a €90 million offer for Federico Valverde

Real Madrid have one of the most unique combinations in midfield today, as there is a mixture of youth and experience that fits very well with Carlo Ancelotti’s tactics. Federico Valverde enters in the first description as one of the most outstanding talents in the Merengues.

The Uruguayan has shown that he has a real talent for football. According to Transfermarket, Valverde is worth 70 million euros, but some clubs are willing to pay more for him. Tomas Gonzalez-Martin, a Spanish journalist, reported that the team (identity not revealed) offered 90 million euros for the midfielder, but Real Madrid rejected it.

Real Madrid’s board of directors have declared the Uruguayan non-transferrable as many clubs have requested his services. Federico Valverde is under contract until 2027 and has a €1,000m release clause.
