Christophe Galtier has been linked with the Paris Saint-Germain coaching job for a few weeks now, and he could finally be announced by the capital city club at the start of the coming week.
The strategist, who won Ligue 1 and Lille in 2020/21 and then coached Nice last year, visited PSG facilities on Thursday before returning south to continue the move.
According to L’Equipe, his appointment will be announced early in the new week, and he could train on Monday as some players return before the season.
The French letter adds that the contract will last only two years, and it is possible that a third will now be canceled.
The 55-year-old’s presentation and official press conference should be on Tuesday or Wednesday, according to L’Equipe. This, however, will be confirmed soon by the party.
He will get a chance to get to know some of his players, although international players still have plenty of holiday season to get stuck with the extra games they were supposed to play in early June.
