The day may not be far off until we see Robert Lewandowski in Barcelona’s uniform. Let’s find out if the Polish striker will feature for the Blaugrana against Real Madrid this Saturday.

The second pre-season friendly with the American Barcelona will be played in Las Vegas. The Blaugrana are now in Las Vegas for another pre-season clash, but this one is highly anticipated by both the team and the fans as they face arch-rivals Real Madrid.

Los Blancos will play their first game since winning the UEFA Champions League and will be responsible for welcoming the most high-profile arrival of their rivals, Robert Lewandowski. The game will be played at a sold-out Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 23.

Fans are eagerly awaiting Lewandowski’s debut after the club officially announced the purchase of the Polish star for an estimated €45m with a €500m exit option. Although no one has seen the experienced striker in a Blaugrana shirt yet, maybe he will soon.

When will Robert Lewandowski make his Barcelona debut?

Lewandowski can make his debut in the club’s biggest rivalry after watching from the stands as his new side demolished Inter Miami 6-0, spurred on by another new signing, Brazilian winger Raphinha. Both teams will be looking to make an early statement in their respective leagues this season when they meet in the pre-season version of El Clasico this Saturday.

It will be the second time La Liga’s biggest rivalry has taken place in the US and the forward has already been training with his teammates in preparation for his debut. In addition to the Pole’s start, other new arrivals Andreas Christensen, Raphinha and Franck Kessie are also likely to get playing time against the Whites.

Xavi Hernandez, the team’s coach, is already with his players in the United States ahead of this weekend’s derby, having managed to resolve visa issues. If Lewandowski is not ready to make his debut at the moment, he may get his chance three days later on Tuesday, July 26, when his team takes on Juventus in the Cotton Bowl in Texas.

The Poland international was recently seen working out with his now former Bayern team-mates and his condition will be assessed by Barca staff. Earlier, the striker was good enough to join training with the rest of the squad in Munich and work with Julian Nagelsmann.
