Neymar’s former agent Wagner Ribiero believes the Brazilian is not about to leave Paris Saint-Germain as he is still dreaming of UEFA Champions League glory with the French champions.

The 30-year-old has a contract in Paris until 2025, but there have been rumors that PSG could look to bring him down, having signed Lionel Messi in 2021 and recently renewed Kylian Mbappe’s contract.

A return to Barcelona has long been quiet for Neymar, who won the UEFA Champions League with him in 2014-15 and has spoken out about his desire to play for the United States.

However, when asked about Neymar’s future, Ribiero made it clear that he understands that the former Santos player is not considering leaving and is focused on ending PSG waiting for the Champions League title.

“Neymar has a dream: to be a Champions League champion with PSG,” he told Goal.

“Despite all the rumors about him coming out, he is very determined and will not give up until he achieves it.”

Asked if Neymar liked the job at PSG, he added: “Yes. Every year with the passing of Nasser Al-Khelaifi (party president) he develops a party in every way.

“They have just completed a training center, which will be one of the best. And now you want to have the best French players at PSG.”

Since Neymar joined PSG in 2017, the French giants have been knocked out of the quarter-finals in three seasons – finishing second in 2019-20 and advancing to the semi-finals the following year.

During that time, Neymar has scored 20 goals in the Champions League and scored 13 assistants – the only player to have more assistants at the same time as teammate Mbappe.
