The 23-year-old is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer this summer and his contract expires in June. PSG are refusing to stop convincing their striker to stay at Parc des Princes.
But it seems certain that his next place will be at the Bernabeu, with The Athletic and Marca reporting that Mbappe has agreed on personal terms with Real.
Fabrizio Romano, a trusted transfer champion, also announced that Real Madrid were “very confident” that they had found their man.
Understandably, the contract has not yet been signed, however, giving PSG a glimmer of hope.
About his future, Kylian Mbappe said over the weekend: “I can’t say my future but you will know soon…
“This is not the right time but yes, yes … my decision has almost been made.”
Los Blancos have long been interested in winning the World Cup and tried to sign him last summer, however, PSG have rejected their big-money bids.
But now he is about to join the LaLiga giants for free. Real Madrid will also sign Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger from Bosman, while Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been linked with a move away this summer.
Kylian Mbappe is considered one of the best players in the world. He has scored 116 goals in 141 PSG games.
He joined PSG from Monaco, who helped him win the Ligue 1 title, in a deal that is thought to be worth £ 165million. Mbappe holds five French league titles to his name.
The player has achieved great success in the international arena as he has won the World Cup and the United Nations and his home country of France in 2018 and 2021 respectively.
He also rallied three times as Ligue 1 Player of the Year, three times in the UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season, and was named the best young player at the 2018 World Cup.
His new club is expected to enjoy a successful season as they have won their 35th LaLiga.
They also have a chance to become European champions for the 14th time as they face Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League final on May 28.
