Kylian Mbappe’s saga is coming to an end, as he is about to sign a new contract in Paris-Saint Germain that will see him stay at the club.
According to MARCA Kylian Mbappe has informed Real Madrid president Florentino Perez of his decision.
It is the second time Kylian Mbappe has rejected Real Madrid, after leaving Monaco for PSG in 2017 and, just as five years ago, this was not the result Real Madrid had expected.
Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe had reached an agreement last week regarding the terms of his contract. These include, among other details, the payment of 130 million euros as a signature bonus, full dictation of image rights and a lucrative salary.
However, Kylian Mbappe and his team, who have been surrounded by political pressure from Qatar and France, continue to listen to PSG at all times.
“It is the most difficult decision of his life,” explained those close to him.
The French association has given him everything he has asked for, including a large sum of money, however, the most important thing being the sports aspect.
At PSG, Mbappe will have a voice and will be heard, influencing the election of a new sporting director and the next coach.
The 23-year-old will also have a say in the recruitment to strengthen the team’s hopes of winning the UEFA Champions League for the first time.
Real Madrid’s frustration with the situation turned into doubt on Friday as opinions within and outside the club vary and senior club members are considering taking drastic measures.
The Spanish team had given Mbappe an unimaginable permit, in addition to leaving Erling Haaland.
However, it was not enough to sign Mbappe, as PSG have secured him and will be having a party this Saturday night,
