Kylian Mbappe will make the right decision when he leaves Paris Saint-Germain for Real Madrid, according to Bixente Lizarazu.
Mbappe of France is expected to lose his contract at PSG at the end of the season and is widely expected to sign for Madrid.
The Ligue 1 champions hope to convince the 23-year-old to extend his stay at Parc des Princes.
According to the Spanish newspaper El Pais, Madrid demands 50 percent of Mbappe’s portrait and prompts an attacker to consider reviving the French capital.
However, Lizarazu thinks the move by the Champions League athletes and the opportunity to reunite with their international counterpart Karim Benzema would be good for Mbappe.
Asked where he would like to see Mbappe play, Lizarazu told Telefoot: “Real Madrid – it seems clear to me.
“The culture of the Champions League, the electricity that is on the pitch, and moreover the team is perfect. You can do well there. Meeting Benzema would be great.
“Now, if he takes too long to decide, it’s because he’s waiting for a response from PSG. The answer is structure, organization, mind. Will the team, collectively, respond?
“There are a lot of things you can expect and change at the level of some directors.”
