Barcelona in Bayern’s hands: First with Robert Lewandowski and now with Ousmane Dembele

Barcelona are yet to finalize the revival of Ousmane Dembele, Gavi, and Sergi Roberto, but for the three they are the most difficult to fix with a French striker. Positions are far away, though they hope to bring them closer to a pending meeting.

Although the date of the meeting is still in the air, Bayern Munich, who have been trying to sign Ousmane Dembele for months, have taken a step forward and have shown a keen interest in the 25-year-old.

Therefore, Barcelona is not only discussing the transfer of Robert Lewandowski to Bayern, but Ousmane Dembele’s name – a free agent on June 30 – may also come up.

Barcelona officials believe the figures they will give the Frenchman will be closer to those he will receive from Bayern, who expect a major departure from their attacking department this summer.

Barcelona’s financial situation

Barcelona is facing a weak economic situation and is burdened by its low wages, which came after years of inefficiency.

For the same reason, Barcelona cannot match the figures provided by Paris Saint-Germain, one of the biggest clubs following the former Borussia Dortmund player.

However, apart from these proposals, Ousmane Dembele has not signed with any other club. The Frenchman is awaiting Barcelona’s final gift, which will be unveiled at the next meeting.

That he has not yet put another paper in the paper gives hope to Xavi Hernandez, who is aiming for his renewal, though at the Camp Nou offices they have no hope.

Barcelona informed Ousmane Dembele’s camp at their last meeting a few weeks ago that they would make an effort to keep him and offer him a creative contract based on bonuses, which they hoped would satisfy him.

They also made it clear to him that the situation was serious and that they would not give a green light on contracts they could not afford.

Barcelona are aware that if Dembele stays out it will not be for financial reasons, as both Bayern and PSG will undoubtedly offer him a lucrative contract.
