A week after Kylian Mbappe’s decision to stay in Paris Saint-Germain was announced, his colleague Achraf Hakimi sent a public message to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
The former Los Blancos defender was the first PSG player to be informed of Kylian Mbappe’s desire to stay at Parc des Princes and refuse Real Madrid.
Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi maintained good relations, and the two men traveled to the Spanish capital earlier this month to spend a day together in the city.
“The team players learned about it on the field,” Achraf told the Spanish television program ‘La Resistencia’.
“I, being his friend, well … a few days ago.
“The fact is, I’ve received messages from people who have been texting me for a long time. They say, ‘What is your friend going to do?’ and as she sat, they said: ‘She is barren.’
Achraf’s message to Florentino Perez
TV show presenter David Broncano asked the PSG defender if he had a good relationship with the Real Madrid president and Achraf admitted there was respect between him and Florentino Perez, but nothing more.
“Yes, Tito Floren, be happy,” was Achraf’s message to Perez.
“I hope you sign again and I wish you the best of luck on Saturday [the Champions League final].”
