Paris Saint-Germain fans are still reeling from Mauricio Pochettino’s exit from the Coupe de France and the UEFA Champions League, with some of the best players coming in with a lot of criticism, and Sergio Ramos felt angry as he stepped in to replace Lorient on Sunday night.
Two months after his departure due to injury, Sergio Ramos replaced Marquinhos in the 72nd minute but was met by a mixture of boos and whistles by the crowd at Parc des Princes.
The Spaniard was not only whistled and punched as he entered but he was whistled every time he touched the ball. A clear message from PSG fans is directed at Sergio Ramos.
This was Sergio Ramos’ sixth appearance for PSG since joining him as a free agent from Real Madrid last summer, due to an injury that ruined his first season in the French capital.
In fact, his last PSG game came back on January 23, with fans pointing to the club’s management for signing the 36-year-old.
