Paris Saint-Germain will make a final effort to keep Kylian Mbappe at the club this month.

Mbappe’s future has been the subject of intense speculation over transfers in recent months as the French star reaches the end of his current PSG contract.

The 23-year-old is in the final two months of his contract at Parc des Princes without reviewing his future with Paris.

However, the former AS Monaco sprinter gives a vague answer when asked about his future last week, saying that ‘new things’ have already emerged, which could influence his decision not to.

According to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, on BBC Sport, the change comes as a result of his desire to negotiate a free transfer to Real Madrid, based on a PSG deal.

Balague said PSG was willing to offer Mbappe 150 million euros, as well as an annual salary of 21 million euros, to sign a two-year extension this summer.

Real Madrid are rumored to be earning around € 25 million a year but it will not be the same as PSG’s extra money.
