Jurgen Klopp has won his 160th Premier League match as Liverpool beat Watford 2-0 on Saturday.

In the 250th German league game with the Reds, goals from Diogo Jota and Fabinho gave them a typical victory.

No Liverpool manager has ever won so many games in their first 250 games for the club, with Kenny Dalglish’s return of 150 out of 250 being well-received by Klopp earlier this season.

The result also shows that Klopp arrives at the historic site faster than most of his contemporaries. Jose Mourinho (158), Sir Alex Ferguson (152), and Arsene Wenger all recorded a few victories in their first 250 games in charge.

The 2-0 victory was Liverpool’s tenth consecutive victory in the Premier League, becoming the second team in the competition to enjoy running five different times alongside Manchester City.

Liverpool now sit top of the Premier League, although Manchester City could once again claim that spot in their match against Burnley on Saturday.
