French Forward Kylian Mbappe Reportedly Expected To Sign New Contract at PSG

The transfer saga of Kylian Mbappe has taken a new turn in recent days, with the Frenchman refusing to release the possibility of signing a new contract in Paris Saint-Germain.

Speaking after PSG’s 5-1 home win over Lorient on Sunday night, the 23-year-old admitted he was still deciding on his future.

“I have not yet made a decision, but there are new factors, the right amount of things to consider,” Mbappe said.

“What are they? New elements.

“I’m calm, looking to make the best decision I can with the people I love.”

Will Mbappe stay at PSG?

And now Daniel Riolo, a journalist who said Lionel Messi would sign for PSG, has told RMC Sport that Mbappe will sign a new contract with the Paris club.

“[PSG president Nasser] Al-Khelaifi is the only one who is interested in knowing what Kylian [Mbappe] will do,” Riolo said.

“No one will believe me, but [his new contract] will be announced in May and he will stay.”

Despite all the rumors and speculation about his future, Real Madrid are still confident of joining the summer.

If he does, Mbappe will be the foundation of a new Los Blancos project ahead of next season.
