Jesus

The 25-year-old’s future at the Etihad Stadium is in doubt, with the Gunners reportedly keen to sign the Brazilian international this summer.

Mikel Arteta is looking to strengthen the attack ahead of the 2022-23 season, with both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah out of contract in June.

According to the Daily Express, Arsenal are conducting their first investigation into the discovery of Jesus in November last year, and are now set to make a £ 35m bid in an effort to attract players to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Gabriel Jesus, who has less than 15 months left on his current contract, has recently refused to sign a possible exit from the Etihad, but Pep Guardiola has hinted he would like to keep the Brazilian, insisting he is still a Manchester City player.

Barcelona and Juventus have also been praised for their interest in signing Gabriel Jesus, who has scored 12 goals and 12 assists in 36 Citizens’ games in all competitions this season.
