Roman Abramovich has received numerous ‘tough’ promises to buy Chelsea in just one day announcing his intention to sell the club.
The Russian man is being monitored for his close relationship with Vladimir Putin during the Ukrainian invasion and calls for sanctions against the UK government.
After nearly two decades in charge at Stamford Bridge, Abramovich is now looking to sell the club, and the PA news report has received several £ 3bn bids.
They can add that Chelsea are still open to new bids and will review all offers once they have been received.
Swiss millionaire Hansjorg Wyss has teamed up with Los Angeles Dodgers owner Todd Boehly to form an alliance in a bid to buy Chelsea, although the Telegraph reports that their nearest bid will not be worth £ 2bn.
They are not the only ones in the running to buy the West London club and they may need to submit their application for consideration by Abramovich.
