Bayern Munich midfielder Robert Lewandowski has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid by El Chiringuito for Diario AS. Paco Garcia Caridad said the Polish striker and his family have a desire to come to Spain and although no negotiations are currently underway, the move could be achieved.

Lewandowski, 33, is one of the most prolific scorers in football history. He joined Bayern from Borussia Dortmund in 2014 and has scored 333 goals in 362 appearances for the club.

This season he has scored 39 incredible goals in 33 games in all competitions. He has scored 74 goals in 128 games for Poland.

But the belief in Lewandowski’s camp is that he has achieved all that he deserves in Bavaria as he has truly won everything he has to win at the club. His contract expires in the summer of 2023 and the veteran believes he has one last major challenge left. Atletico, who are struggling this year despite being defending champions, could use him.
