According to RMC Sport, Lionel Messi does not want to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer. This follows rumors that the UEFA Champions League exit last week and the subsequent sour relations between the squad and the fans might have caused the Argentine to look elsewhere.
Sources close to the player have apparently admitted that Messi understands the fans’ anger and is equally disappointed with their defeat by Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The 34-year-old is said to have been particularly frustrated with PSG’s training ground in the last days, coming to Paris in an effort to win the Champions League with them.
In addition, there have been reports that there has been no contact between Messi and his former club, Barcelona since his departure last summer. After settling in Paris with his family, Messi hopes to play to the best of his ability after the transition period.
